Sounds Like
I've heard that I sound like anyone from Janis Joplin to
Loretta Lynn, Sheryl Crow to the female Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt to
Joan Baez. Take a listen and give me your label. My voice sounds
different inside my head so I have no idea. I think I sound like my
momma.
I like rock n' roll. I love to sing the blues. I like country but not
most of the stuff on country radio. I've never had a straight answer
to the question "what kind of music do you play?". I write whatever
comes to me...might be country, might be folk, might be...well, you
get it. Some of my songs are about love. Some of my songs are about
running away from life. They all have a special meaning to me somehow.
I don't play to be famous. I play because I love it and it keeps me
outta trouble...sometimes. I would also rather people quit telling me
to go on American Idol. It's not gonna happen.
